Hey people today i would like to discuss something very serious. Its often heard that if we could educate all the Indians all the countries maladies would be gone. But is that problem really that simple?
Is just educating all the people in this country going to help?
Even if we somehow manage to provide primary education to all the children in this country, which I may tell you is a number far greater than most countries populations, what are we to do after that?
Where are all these new educated children suppose to go after that?
Now days people don't even look at you unless your a graduate, hence these children would still end up waiting tables at roadside food joints or sweeping the floor, what will be the poor boys incentive? The same boy who thought he could make a difference if he or she got some education would completely breakdown.
Also now that they have got primary education some children might want to further pursue education, but they really cant cause they cant afford it, and even if the government manages to make that education free, what are they to do after that? neither does our country have the educational infrastructure to support these new students. The colleges are already stuffed to the brim with students and many more who don't get admissions, waiting in waitlists with a really tiny candle called-hope, something that gets blown off really easily, but is a task to relight! where are these new set of students to go to?
The next part is that even if all these people manage to get into college, are they enough jobs out there in this country to support these people? certainly not!
Just providing free education is not going to help, along with that the countries educational infrastructure needs to be improved, developed.
The government needs to educate the parents on birth control methods, family planning, etc, and it all needs to be done simultaneously and fast.
the entire country as a hole needs to develop, at present development is only based in a few pockets, it needs to be more wide spread! with development will come new jobs, better infrastructure and lots more with it!
Best of Luck India.
What say people?? give your suggestions :-)
